What size nail weight for a Neko rig?
3/64 oz is the size most anglers settle on. Go to 1/64 or 1/32 oz in clear, shallow or heavily pressured water where you want the slowest possible fall, and 1/16 or 7/64 oz when you are fishing deeper, into wind, or in current.

How do I keep the nail weight from pulling out?
Insert it into the fattest part of the bait so there is plastic all around it, and push it fully below the surface. On a soft stick bait an O-ring at the hook takes the strain off the plastic and the whole rig lasts noticeably longer.
What is the difference between a Neko rig and a wacky rig?
Both hook a stick bait through the middle. A Neko rig adds a nail weight in one end so the bait stands nose-down on the bottom and shakes. A wacky rig is unweighted or carries the weight at the hook, so it falls flat and shimmies on both ends.
Why is tungsten smaller than lead?
Our weights are a 97% tungsten alloy at roughly 18.0 g/cm3 against lead's 11.34, so about 1.6 times denser. The same ounce takes up around 37% less volume. Worth knowing that is volume, not length — the weight is roughly 14% shorter and narrower, not 37%.
