Common questions
Do these come with a hook?
No. These are weights for a wacky rig, not finished jigheads. You add them to your own hook and stick bait. If you want a head with the hook already on it, look at our shaky heads, which are built on a 4/0.
What is the weedless version?
The weedless models carry a weed guard that keeps the point from grabbing every piece of cover on the fall. Use them around wood and grass; the open style is fine on clean bottom and around docks.
What sizes do you stock?
1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 oz, in both open and weedless styles.
How much weight should I add to a wacky rig?
As little as you can get away with. 1/16 oz keeps most of the shimmy that makes the rig work; 3/16 and 1/4 oz are for wind, depth or getting down through the water column faster when fish are not shallow.
